The Challenge

Every campground operates differently.

The layout is different. The way campers arrive is different. Staff workflows are different. Cell service, signage, campsite numbering and even the way guests navigate the property can change from one campground to the next.

Those details can be difficult to understand from behind a computer.

For Set Your Sites, implementing a campground isn't simply about configuring software. It's about understanding how that campground actually works.

The Set Your Sites Approach

When Set Your Sites launches at a campground, we show up and we camp there.

Staying at the property gives our team the opportunity to experience the campground the same way a camper does: arriving at the property, finding a campsite, navigating signage, using the technology and understanding what happens when campground staff aren't standing nearby.

It also gives us time with the people who know the campground best.

That firsthand experience helps us identify small operational details that can have a big impact on whether technology actually makes someone's job easier.

The Experience at Enumclaw

For Enumclaw, that hands-on approach translated into an implementation experience that stood out.

The campground wasn't handed software and expected to figure out the rest.

Set Your Sites worked alongside the team to understand the property, get the system set up and make the process as easy as possible. We listened to outstanding issues that we could help with that may not be software related like how campers enter and exit. Site numbering had always been confusing so we fixed it. Fuse boxes that looked like power boxes needed labeling so campers didn't try to access the wrong box.

The result prompted the Enumclaw team to specifically call out not only the ease and efficiency of the process, but something less common in campground technology:

The founders showed up.

“You staying at each of your clients’ campgrounds shows your commitment to your business and your clients.”

Why Showing Up Matters

We See What Campers See

A campground can look very different on a map than it does when you're pulling in with a camper.

Being on site helps us understand the actual arrival experience and identify friction that isn't obvious if you don't camp there.

We Learn How the Campground Really Operates

Technology needs to fit the campground, not force the campground to fit the technology.

Working alongside staff gives our team a better understanding of their existing operation and what needs to become easier.

We Test the Experience Ourselves

We're not asking campers to use an experience we've never tried.

When we stay at a customer campground, we're using the same property, connectivity, signage and processes their guests will encounter.

We Build Relationships, Not Accounts

A campground isn't simply another location added to the platform.

The people running it have trusted Set Your Sites with a system that touches their staff and their campers. We take that responsibility seriously.

Built by People Who Camp

Set Your Sites was built around a simple belief:

You can't solve campground problems if you don't understand what happens at the campground.

That means talking with staff, listening to campers and pulling into one of our own customers' campsites for the night.

For Enumclaw, that commitment was visible from the beginning.

And for Set Your Sites, that's exactly the point.
